I was almost done with 500 Ketogenic Recipes; I needed just one more recipe. The Facebook fans called for Mudslides, so here they are! They’re super-yummy — and deceptively innocuous-tasting — so be careful.
The measurements for this are all in “fluid ounces” because I used a shot glass to measure everything. 2 fluid ounces = 1/4 cup. 1 fluid ounce = 2 tablespoons.
- 5 fl oz heavy cream
- 3 fl oz Mockahlua 2017
- 3 fl oz vodka
- 2 fl oz Irish cream sugar free syrup
- 1 oz Irish whiskey
- Walden Farms or Hershey’s Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup, optional
- Put the cream, Mockahlua, vodka, Irish Cream syrup, and Irish whiskey in your blender. Add ice — I used about 2 cups — and run the blender until the whole thing is slushy.
- If you want to be fancy, or just love chocolate, pour a little sugar-free chocolate syrup around the mouth of each glass and let it run down the insides before pouring out the Mudslides.
Yield: 4 servings, each with: 14g Fat; 1g Protein; 1g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 1g net carbohydrate
The number of servings one should eat in a sitting will depend upon your daily carbohydrate limit.
